OCTA-SELL | Self-Generating Disinfectant Endoscope Disinfector FOUR-O LAB's OCTA-SELL is designed for the disinfection of flexible endoscopes, including gastroscopes and colonoscopes. The device first rinses the endoscope using purified or tap water, then activates an internal electrolysis unit to generate hypochlorite(OCl-) directly on-site, supplying the freshly produced disinfectant to the soaking chamber. This process delivers high-level disinfection in compliance with Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare guidelines, producing electrochemically activated free chlorine at concentrations of 650–675 ppm or above at the point of use. Beyond flexible endoscopes, OCTA-SELL is also suitable for disinfecting gynecological specula, ENT laryngoscopes, and endoscope-related accessories, excluding any items that require full sterilization. Difference between OCTA-SELL 1 & 2 The standard OCTA-SELL has a single-chamber and features ultrasonic cleaning, an integrated leak test, and an air flush function. It requires purified salt replenishment every 20 cycles - sufficient to disinfect up to 20 endoscopes. The OCTA-SELL 2 has dual-chember and retains all of these capabilities while adding a built-in alcohol drying system that makes a faster drying possible. Salt replenishment is required every 25 cycles, supporting up to 50 endoscopes per load.
